Review Policy

I am accepting requests.

I accept ARCs, both print and e-copies. Print is preferred, and given more of a priority, though. Please remember, I do reserve the right to decline reviewing a book. However, if I do accept your invitation to review, I promise that you will receive a completely honest review. Please remember that the review is not critiquing the author themselves, only what they have written.

Rating system:

I do my best not to beat around the bush when it comes to my opinions. If I strongly dislike your book, you will notice it first with how many stars I give it. I do like to include spoilers, it helps fill out my review and actually gives me something to talk about. Those will be separated into spoiler free, and spoiler filled sections so I do not ruin your reading experiences. The spoilers will always be labeled beforehand and will usually be more towards the end of the review.

★★★★★
5 – THIS. BOOK. IS. F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. I will not rest until I have shouted its praises to every corner of the world. Not only do I own a beautiful copy, I hug it sometimes.

★★★★☆
4 – This book was amazing, and while it may have had some imperfections, the overall story made up for them. If I haven’t already bought a copy, I will be doing so soon.

★★★☆☆
3 – This was a good book, I liked it but didn’t love it. My feelings could also be summed up with a non-committal shrug.

★★☆☆☆
2 – A book that I didn’t really enjoy, but was able to finish. It’s a “not for me” kind of book, but there were some aspects that kept it from being a complete waste of time. Not something that I will reread or purchase, though.

★☆☆☆☆
1 – I’m surprised the book was published, I could find hardly any redeeming qualities. Precious hours of my life were used to read this, and I want them back.

☆☆☆☆☆
0 – I had to DNF, there was no point in wasting my time reading this. THAT is how awful it was.

Thank you so much for your interest in my reviews!
